My surgeon Dr Yalcin has worked a miracle on my body after loosing 16st, I can wait until my transformation is complete next year. The hospital is so clean and modern and every single member of staff have been amazing so attentive and friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. I highly recommend bookingsurgery.com
Recently returned from surgery with Dr Yalcin where I had an uplift and implants…..I am over the moon with my results. The whole process from the 1st contact with my coordinator Mike Smith was effortless no amount of questions were too much and he always came back to me with a friendly message quickly and efficiently, he even too the time to come and see him whilst recovering I did have one issue which was raised with Mike for awareness it was acted on and resolved straight away. I cannot thank the whole team enough xx

I had a gastric sleeve on the 1/10/2024 and has been the the best decision I made. I am 8 weeks PO and am down just over 3st. My co-ordinator was Bruce Grayson and he was very helpful, answered all my questions very quickly. I was at the Yasam hospital and had Dr Ali Tardu for my surgery. Pre tests were very efficient, we had chest xray, scans on abdomen, legs and chest, bloods and a meeting with phyciatrist. These were all done before being cleared for surgery. Staff at the hospital are all friendly and very attentive. There is always atranslator on shift and if the nurses didn’t understand they came straight back with a translator so they understood what you was asking. Some got their phones out to help translate what they wanted to say. Cleaners and food couldn’t fault any of it. We didn’t arrive until gone 6pm and the first thing they asked was if we had eaten, as we hadn’t eaten since around 8.30 uk time they brought us dinner. My mum came with me and she was pleased with the food, attentiveness and how I was treated. The only thing she would recommend for a companion is a sleep mask and ear plugs for when they come in and do their checks during the night. You can get food from the shop/small cafe downstairs wether it be a coffee, hot food or biscuits and chocolate. They have a outdoor seating area which my mum found nice, she got coffee, biscuits and had a vape whilst I slept. A few days after surgery, I joined her as the weather was nice and wanted the air. The only thing I would highly recommend is walk, walk walk walk and make friends with the people who are there and going through the same thing as you. I have great support in the girls I made friends, we exchanged numbers and have a whatsapp group, we talk most days and support each other when we have a down day/moment, help with food ideas etc. We’re meeting up in the new year. I would highly recommend bookingsurgery.com. The hospital is like a hotel my husband said when I was giving him a tour when I arrived. The taxi service i would give 5* also, they meet you outside the airport take your luggage and give you WiFi so you can let your loved ones know you’ve arrived safely. They take you into the hospital and get you settled into your room. They dont let you carry your bags. On the way home, it’s the same, they collect you, and they take you into the airport and to the check in desk. All together it’s a 12/10 from me.
I honestly cannot recommend booking surgery enough. I travelled to Yasam hospital for a gastric sleeve on 05/11/24. The whole experience from the start has been incredible. My coordinator David Turker has been incredibly helpful. My surgeon was Ali Tardu. I had research for many years before booking my procedure and wouldn’;t have chosen any other surgeon! The hospital was incredibly clean and the staff went above and beyond to provide the best level of comfort, support and many laughs! The pre-op tests were very thorough and reassuring. My dietician Merry has been incredible in answering all of my questions. Thank you Booking Surgery:)
I had a deep plane face and neck lift with this company.
My coordinator Pierre Eliot was amazing from 1st point of contact. He was professional and friendly and answered all my queries and questions nothing ever felt like it was a bother or an inconvenience.
The pick up service is easy and he brings you right to the hospital entrance and stays with you until the coordinator comes and gets you.
Hospital was clean, the room was spacious and equipped with hairdryer, smart tv and mini fridge.
Before I met with my surgeon I underwent a list of tests, blood work, ecg, chest Xray, sonography, anaesthesiologist, cardiologist to make sure you are fit for surgery.
My surgeon was phenomenal he was so friendly, and caring. He explained everything to me once I told him what I would like. He managed my expectations well. He recommended that I hold off for a little while on the brow lift as I’m not advanced enough to have it. I appreciated his honesty and advice.
The nursing staff were so helpful and always on hand. Serhatt was particularly kind and gentle. He made a huge effort not to put lights on if it could be avoided during the night and tried not to disturb the companion too.
On discharge I was given a copy of all tests and procedures performed, their results, what procedure I had done, my post operative medications and instructions in English for me to keep/ pass on to my own GP
The food wasn’t great and was cold in a few occasions and the sleeping arrangements for the companion isn’t very comfortable but that’s my only issue.
I will 100% be using this company for my next procedures
What can I say. I had a bypass in october of this year, The team are amazing. Had my surgery with Dr Tardu. I was picked up at the airport. Taken back to the airport. Team at the hospital couldent do enough for me. So attentive and helpfull. I traveled on my own. But never felt alone. You’ve always someone to talk to with the other patients. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering weight loss surgery. Will be back for plastics.
I’ve just got back home after a 5 day stay at the Medistanbul Hospital.
All the staff are amazing, a big shoutout to all the coordinators and translators who make your stay stress free. I had a gastric sleeve and my surgeon was Dr Katar whose skills are amazing, I could not fault the care of the nursing team who were also amazing, they check on you almost every hour, even if they can’t speak English they use google translator to communicate.
The cleaners come in your room twice a day and the corridors outside your room are clean and tidy.
My coordinator was Mike Smith who has been brilliant from the start of my enquiry to seeing him just before I left for home.
If anyone is sceptical like many of us are in the beginning all I can I was put at easy from the moment I arrived to when I was dropped at the airport. I will definitely be back in 10months for plastics.

The most lovely staff throughout this whole journey! So helpful and I couldn’t have wanted anything more, so patient and kind, the hospital is spotless and all members of staff are extremely hygienic and make sure you are feeling as best as you possibly can be. I can not recommend booking surgery & medistanbul hospital enough! Will definitely be returning for any future operations xx
The duty of care has been 100% by the surgeon, care team & the translators, especially Bill who has gone above and beyond to make sure we have had the best stay in yasam. He really is the best and couldn’t do enough ensure our stay was positive, and comfortable.
Steve & Akin have attended to our needs tirelessly daily, along with all the other care colleagues and given the best care ever.
The meals were not always good, but did have several options, although if you’re English the combination of variety didn’t always go together
Protein is a big factor for recovery by the hospital, but the catering team need room for improvement based on protein meal choices.
The cleaners cater to you’re needs aswell not just to keeping your rooms clean and fresh bedding, they help in any other ways they can.

The interpreters were amazing, couldn’t be more helpful, especially Bill who went above & beyond to accommodate us & our quirky ways. The nurses & care assistants couldn’t be more attentive & patient, and worked tirelessly to give round the clock care, especially Steve & Akin. The surgeon Dr Fatih was thorough in his examination & aftercare, I can’t thank everyone enough, and feel confident about the surgery I have had at Yasam hospital.
There is room for improvements with meals, & could be better coordination in line with aftercare meal suggestions for recovery. Though you do get 3 meals a day & there is an area to get a drink or sweet snack.
I do feel that everyone involved in our care gave 100% & recommend bookingsurgery.com & Yasam hospital for anyone considering surgery.
I had a fabulous experience with Booking Surgery for my breast augmentation. From start to finish the whole process was so smooth and easy, and made better by my co ordinator Pierre. He was kind and reassuring, and honestly couldn’t do enough for me. He responded swiftly to my questions and queries, nothing was to much for him and I’m so grateful!
My surgeon, Dr Ömer Parıldar, was fantastic, and gave me exactly what I wanted. He was very involved with the process visiting me daily after the operation, which was great to ask any questions and put me at ease that my recovery was going well.
The staff at Medistanbul were angels, from the nurses to the cleaners everyone was so friendly and caring in their roles.
Some more staff from Booking Surgery is like to mention is David Tucker who came to visit me on the ward and chat, which was lovely to meet someone who’s an advocate for what this company can do to improve someone’s entire life! And also, Nadia, who frequently chatted with me made sure I had everything I need, she is a huge asset to this company and for me, the kind and reassuring smiling face you’d need at a time like this.
