My husband recently had a hair transplant at Medical of Istanbul, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience!!. From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and made us feel completely at ease. The clinic was clean and well-organized, the doctor was amazing he took his time explaining everything, which really helped calm his nerves. The procedure itself went smoothly, and the team was attentive and supportive throughout. It’s been a few months now, and the results are fantastic, his hair looks so natural and full, and I can see how much more confident he feels. Choosing this clinic was the best decision, and I’d recommend it to anyone considering a hair transplant.

I contacted Ali in October and he provided me all the information and didn’t push to try to make me go imediatelly. In December i contacted him again asking about the dates and decided to go a week later. Everything happened as described. From the pickup from the airport, to the hotel, to the clinic and back to the airport. All the doubts before and after the procedure were clarified by him and André. They also explained all the post procedure with videos and it’s been 3 days and everything is going very well. I have no pain, and the result is looking good. My experience was very good and i definitely recommend it.

I recently underwent a hair transplant procedure and my experience was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the assistance I received was perfect. The agent, Ali, was incredibly attentive and professional, ensuring every detail was taken care of.

Ali was in contact with me the entire time, answering all my questions and making sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. I was picked up from the airport in a great car, taken to my hotel, and later escorted to the clinic with the utmost care and punctuality.

The only issue I encountered was at the airport ( coming back home) , where agents initially didn’t want to let me carry my care kit.

I would like to share my Experience with Medical of Istanbul. I will write about the experience and then about the results

I am aware a hair transplant will not solve balding however if the operation is done correctly , a good result can be achieved

My Experience:

Overall, Medical of Istanbul has good reviews, but most seem to be from patients immediately after the procedure. Reviews on long-term results are scarce.

The hair transplant process from start to finish rates at about 6.5/10. They provide airport pickup, and the hotel was satisfactory. However, communication issues arose since only Ali, the coordinator, spoke English, and he wasn’t always available. During the hairline design, a miscommunication led to part of my hair being shaved before discussing the design, though we eventually corrected it however I was unable to use my existing hair as a reference anymore.

I wanted a natural-looking, irregular hairline, but the initial drawing appeared straight. They assured me the doctor would adjust it. During the procedure, which lasted 6-8 hours, I had difficulty using the bathroom because of delays and a camera crew filming me for promotional material.

Another issue arose post-operation. Ali couldn’t attend the follow-up visit due to a personal emergency, and no English-speaking staff were available. Instructions were provided in basic Portuguese, which was inadequate. While Ali later sent instructions via WhatsApp, the communication gap was frustrating.

The tour of Istanbul offered by the clinic felt insincere. The guide barely spoke English, took us to specific shops and a restaurant (likely owned by friends or family), and even had us pay for his meal.

My Results:

Upon leaving, I was dissatisfied with the outcome. The hairline was too straight, uneven on both sides, and too high. Additionally, they didn’t fully transplant to my crown as initially discussed. When I raised this with Ali, he mentioned they had a follicle limit and a second session would cost extra, which felt misleading.

Regarding the hairline, I was informed that I could return in six months for a free session to fix it. However, this wasn’t an ideal solution, as it should not have happened in the first place. Plus, it would require more of my time and money to go back.

I had 3,500 grafts transplanted, and after seven months, the results were very disappointing. The quality of the procedure was far below average, and the outcome was unsuccessful.

I chose to wait a bit longer to see if things would improve, but here I am, ten months post-operation, and the results are still very poor. My hairline remains uneven and too straight on both sides. Additionally, it has a ”pluggy” appearance, similar to a doll’s hairline, with noticeable patches.

I requested a refund, but they only offered a small fraction of what I originally paid. As a result, I’m writing this review in the hope of resolving the issue with the company.

The process was painless en the explain everything wat the do. No worries and if you have a question, the will answer the question and follow the procedure.

The aftercare is great and Ali will help you anytime.
