Great people and great work.
Before, during and after surgery I have always a person to contact for every questions that answer in a few second/minutes.
No pain, just anestesia a little bit annoying but normal.
Doctors were very professional and kind.

Sapphire Hair Clinic was recommended to me by my cousin, he had his hair transplanted there about 2.5 years ago. He started balding from a very young age and having hair really changed him a lot.
As for me, my hair has always been thin around the temples and then i just started loosing those hairs with age (I’m only 30 years old). I hated my ponytail, I could never have my hair tied up or in a slick bun as it made my forehead look huge especially with the fact I have really light brows. Anyway I did my temples and my brows and I wish I did it when I was a couple of years younger, it’s amazing how having hair can boost one’s confidence. My surgery was a DHI they didn’t shave my hair at the top which was amazing .. I didn’t know it was possible I had no idea about hair transplant. Anyway I’m back in Istanbul now with my brother, his is in surgery right now, I met the staff, warm and super nice as always, the doctor is positive about my brother’s surgery, we’ll see how it goes I’ll update my post in a few months.
Other than that, up until now in my 2 visits my experience with the hotels and transfer was perfectly fine nothing to complain about, overall I’m very satisfied with this clinic.

Unfortunately I chose to do my hair transplant at this clinic a bit over 2 years ago, and trust me my hair is worse now than it was before. I used to have good coverage at the top of my head before the surgery due to minoxidil usage, something the doctor said I should stop with for best affect and instead use their completely useless overprized vitamin products. I hoped for 1,5 years that the hair at the scalp would regrow, especially as they were doing the surgery there, but no. After starting with minoxidil again the hair is starting to come back decently but is still worse than before, which is obviously not why you go to a hair clinic. Their ”guarantee” is completely fake as well as they after you recognize the hair is not becoming well, they completely ghost you and stop answering calls and messages, so my best recommendation is to please avoid this clinic and find a legit one instead, because Sapphire are scammers.
I wish I had done this much sooner. I finally had a hair transplant at Sapphire Clinic in Oct. 2023. I wanted to wait to leave a review until my hair had a chance to grow in. It has exceeded my expectations. I’m just a couple days away from the 8 month mark and the transformation is phenomenal. I was pleased with my experience at the clinic. The Dr. was thorough in his explanations and instructions. The Dr. was with me every step of the way. I read reviews of clinics in which patients barely even saw the Dr. and their procedures were done by the technicians. Not the case at Sapphire I’m happy to say. The coordinator was communicative; the transport team member was such a sweet guy; and the clinic was clean and pleasant. I know these operations don’t always turn out well so I feel very fortunate to be so happy with my results.

I am from Belgium and I recently underwent a hair transplant at Sapphire Hair Clinic in Istanbul, Turkey. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the staff were friendly, the organization was lacking. Here is my detailed experience step by step.
Communication:
I wanted a two-day operation (2×5 hours) and agreed to pay an extra fee for this (the doctor was supposedly aware of this according to the contact person, but this turned out to be less accurate). A one-day operation does not provide sufficient time to place the maximum number of grafts unless you start early and finish late. In my case, collecting the grafts took 2 hours, and placing them took 3 hours, all done by technicians. They kept saying ”maximum grafts,” but this depends on how long they work. My entire operation lasted only 5.5 hours. When I asked how many grafts were placed, the standard answer was ”5000 grafts.” I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. I had no choice but to proceed.
Hygiene:
The clinic’s hygiene was very good. The operating room seemed clean and well-maintained.
During the Operation:
I asked questions during the operation because the grafts were being collected unevenly – more from the left side than the right. I monitored this with my smartphone. However, communication in English was difficult. In my opinion, too few grafts were collected, and they seemed to rush to finish by 5 PM, even though we started at 11 AM. I requested the consultation beforehand to save time, but the contact person insisted it could be done on the same day.
Post-Operation:
I will post the results after a few months with before and after photos so you can judge for yourself.
Day After the Operation:
They recommended buying a vitamin package for €300, but in the fine print, it clearly states it is not a medical treatment. On the doctor’s advice, I had to stop my prescribed medical treatment in Belgium (finasteride and minoxidil 5%) to continue with the vitamin course.
Hotel:
At first glance, the hotel seemed clean. However, the breakfast was very poor. Security was also lacking – new hotel guests entered my room while I was there. This could have ended badly if I hadn’t been present.
Transfers:
The transfer from the airport to the hotel and clinic was good. However, the transfer from the hotel to the airport was catastrophic. The transfer was late and poorly booked (according to the contact person, I was not on time, though I waited almost 1.5 hours in the hotel lobby). I ended up ordering a taxi through the hotel reception and paid 800 lira to catch my flight. No one was reachable. I was late to check in my luggage, so I had to leave my expensive vitamin course and shampoo behind, as liquids over 100ml are not allowed in hand luggage. I barely made it in time for boarding.
Overall, it was a very stressful experience.
