The staff was very friendly. The surgery went well. Minimal pain. Shout out to the technicians I had, they did a great job with the grafts. Was pleased with the hairline.

I would not recommend this clinic under any circumstances. I refrained from leaving a negative review immediately, as I wanted to wait for the final results before sharing my experience. However, after undergoing a hair transplant at this clinic in October 2023—nearly 16 months ago—the results have been deeply disappointing.

Here are some major red flags that I either failed to notice before booking my appointment or realized too late. And if you’re wondering, yes, it is highly likely that many of the positive reviews here are fake.

Red Flags:

Poor Communication & Staff Turnover

After scheduling my appointment, I followed up a month later only to find that the person I had been in contact with had disappeared. Another staff member then took over my case. While this might seem normal, it made sense in hindsight considering the other issues I encountered.

Lack of Transparency About the Surgeon

I specifically asked for the name of the professional who would perform my procedure, and they provided one. However, upon arriving in Turkey, I realized that their internal communication was lacking. I had to remind them of our prior agreement to ensure I was assigned the same person.

Last-Minute Schedule Changes

My hair transplant was planned as a two-day procedure: the first day for the crown area and the second day for the front. Initially scheduled for the morning of the second day, my procedure was abruptly rescheduled to 7 PM the night before. This unexpected change was highly unprofessional.

Premature Review Requests

Just a few days after the procedure, they reached out, asking me to leave a review, emphasizing its importance. This raised concerns, as they had repeatedly told me that I would need to wait a year to see results. If their success rate were high, why would they ask for reviews so soon?

Freelance-Based Operation

Almost every time I contacted the clinic, I was met with a different staff member. This indicates that they rely heavily on freelancers rather than having a stable, dedicated medical team. I regret not recognizing this as a major red flag when I first noticed personnel changes.

The Results:

Overharvesting of Donor Area

The sides of my head were unnecessarily overharvested, and even after 1.5 years, they have not recovered. This left me with low density and bald spots, despite having plenty of hair at the back of my head that could have been used instead.

Low Hair Regrowth Rate

By my estimation, more than half of the transplanted hairs did not regrow. Given the price they charge, this is completely unacceptable. I would have been willing to pay more for better results, but unfortunately, it’s too late now.

Uneven & Patchy Growth

The transplanted area is visibly patchy, with one side noticeably denser than the other. I expect the clinic to blame post-procedure care, but I fail to see how I could have cared for one half of my head differently from the other.

Do not waste your money or, more importantly, your precious donor area hair at this clinic. I cannot stress enough the importance of doing thorough research and finding professionals with a proven track record of good results. The positive reviews here are most likely bought—do not trust them blindly.

I chose HairNeva because of the results I’ve seen and after lots of research they were the ones I ended up deciding on. What an experience. Highs and lows but at the end of it, it was a home run. Hard to really prepare mentally so I would recommend booking and enjoying the journey. There main focus is to give you the best results. Comfort is secondary but learned many reasons for that. The staff were awesome and I highly recommend HairNeva!

The entire staff and team were very professional, courteous and thorough. I felt as though I was taken well care of and made to feel comfortable. Ammar is very helpful and precise with his presentation of all information relating to the surgery, after the surgery and care. He takes his job seriously and does it very well.

I had a hair transplant at Hairneva. The procedure lasted 8 hours and was mostly painless apart from putting in the anaesthetic and when they take off the bandages the next day when washing the transplant. The staff were very friendly and do highly recommend coming to Hairneva if you are in need of a hairline. The only improvement I would make is for the staff to speak a bit more English. Overall, was a great experience! Looking forward to the results!

I did my hair transplant here about 18 months ago and couldn’t be happier with the results. The whole procedure was explained perfectly with staff who were readily available and time of the day before, during and after the procedure via WhatsApp, the phone or at the clinic. I have now grown a man bun which I’ve always wanted to do. The staff were all very friendly. The procedure was on the whole painless though the anaesthetic was pretty bad though it only lasted about 5 mins max before the head was numb. I couldn’t be happier with the results now! From initial contact, HairNeva was very responsive and informative. They gave great confidence in knowing that I would be traveling to a foreign country. It was a very easy process and the rate was all inclusive including hotel and airport transportation. At the facility, was greeted and treated well. Having been waiting some time and doing lots of research I eventually went with Hairneva, who appeared to have no negative reviews and upon contract was found to be honest and very caring. Others had offered me a lower price with limited grafts but I knew I would be needing more.

Hairneva gave me a good fixed price for 5000-6000 grafts and it looks like it paying off, now two weeks after the treatment. My research took me down the DHI treatment rather than FUE. Maybe a bit more cash, but recovery time (therefore less time of some discomfort) is much less.

If you don’t know the difference between the too, look it up or ask Hairneva.

Like Keith (previous reviewer), who I met whilst there (Hi Keith, glad you’re keeping well ) I opted for the stem cell injection (after Keith told me his research) that i paid extra for, but worth it as I’m 47 years old and hope it would help. Fair play to hairneva, who advise that i may not need it, so no hard sell.

Mike, the staff and everyone involved were great and very knowledgeable. The treatment I had lasted over 8 hours, but I was cared for.

The accommodation they included was top notch, a massive apartment with kitchen etc. I went alone but would have been plenty of room for my wife.

The after care (contact with Mike via what’s app) has been great. Sharing photos with him so he can check and advise of things like washing and drying, plus application of Serums that I purchase.

If you want your hair done, do it and def consider Hairneva.

Had my transplant done here on 07/11/24. Iv done my research on so many clinics I’m so happy I chose hairneva ,if anyone is hesitant or is always putting their decision to get a transplant on the back burner I promise you this clinic is one of the best .from the very first initial contact with Mike/hotel/staff the whole experience was one in a life time and I’m buzzing with the new hairline I’ll defo update this in 6months with the results ..also if the doctor recommends the stemcell treatment don’t make the same mistake I did inside no to this thinking it was just an added sales gig. I could have got it during my procedure but instead after I did my research on it I went back the following day still sore and swelling from the transplant and had to get more anesthetic needles to numb the pain while they did the stem cell . They are 100% honest and are genuine ,welcoming such lovely staff you you belong there. I wish whoever reads this all the best with their journey you won’t go wrong with hairneva I know theres also many clinics to choose from and they all seem great .Just look at hairnevas reviews they speak for themselves .
